Overview
The Manfrotto 032B Autopole is a black anodised aluminium tension pole that locks between floor and ceiling — or wall to wall — to create a solid rigging point without stands or permanent fixtures. It extends from 210 cm to 370 cm (about 6.9 to 12.1 ft) and is rated for up to 30 kg, while its lever-actuated tension system and rubber end cups grip firmly without marking surfaces.
Add Super Clamps to hang lights, flags, backgrounds or cameras, or set two Autopoles with a crossbar for an instant overhead span — ideal in tight locations where every square foot of floor counts.

- Check the space first: the pole needs roughly 7'8" or more between surfaces, and both must be solid — never drop-ceiling tiles.
- Tension it firmly, then push the pole by hand at mid-height to confirm it can’t walk before loading it.
- Keep heavy loads close to the floor or ceiling end and stay well under the 30 kg rating.
- Release the tension before moving the pole — never slide it while it’s locked.
